It's Been A While... This, IS my Favorite Platform

I'm not new to blogging. I'm new to different blog platforms. You'll see, I have been writing here and there, for about a decade, online.. it's been over 3 decades, with pen and paper. I am Yet to be Physically Published. Which is why I began blogging. I AM a Published writer.
If my writing sold for $10/copy. I would have made a profit at this time. So, why not?! I enjoy writing. If people read it, that's Great, if not... I don't notice much. I Do keep stats, but, they are more of a research thing.

I am in the process of Possibly starting a Regular Vlog. That's one thing I Wish I hadn't added into my "empty the house- declutter", my various tape recorders. Four different models, that still use mini cassette tapes. These are a writer's must, with the exception of digital recorders. However, those mini cassettes, in my opinion, are irreplaceable today. Technology is Amazing. No argument from me there. However, I believe it's just as big of a hinderance as well.

Scientists have shown that, the Same receptors in your brain, that are satisfied by internet interaction, are the Same areas as when a person uses drugs like heroin, cocaine, alcohol... and other Highly Addictive drugs. The internet, Facebook, Chat Apps, Secret Affair Apps, Dating Sites, And, Even a text tone, will Eventually control the user, the Same as a cigarette goes from a "visual status aid" - when it was considered a Social Class Identifier- to an addiction.

Is this Really an issue?
I would Say So! Has being online changed Your life? This is a "reflective question". I'm serious, ask yourself 5 questions.
1: Do I Check Facebook, Twitter, Email-non work related-, (or other sites) When I Wake Up Daily (Within 1 hour of getting up)

2. Do I scroll through to see What's going on, as the television news is Never on?

3. Have I Replaced Physical Attendance To Places I Considered Important, Because Of The Internet? (Ex. Church, Store, Movies, Beach, Camping, Gardening, etc...)

4. Can I Ignore Notifications From Any Apps? (Non-work Related)

5. Are My Posts Varying Between "Today, I argued with ..... over. .... for 3 hours," AND "Personal Business Should Remain Personal" ... in other Words, "Am I Being/Becoming a Hypocrite" ?

Unfortunately. I answered yes to many, myself. This IS an issue. This is an indication that I am losing myself to a computer/cell phone..

Why would I write this, knowing I am, one of many, who Knows all of this stuff... I've followed it for a while now.
I think I have found a few ways to get back to me in control of my net use and response to bells. That was step one. I look at it, as proof that human beings are As Easy to "reinforce train" as mice. This is Obvious, by how fast you hear/respond to that sound. As if, Not answering, in some way, could ruin your life. What kind of life do you live, if all you do is Watch the internet all day every day? You Don't Have A Life, You are simply Watching life go by.

I am not a rat in a maze. My life Won't be Controlled by bells and whistles. Yes, corporate America is ran the same way. A tone sounds, a time card slides, a tone sounds, the card goes again, and that is the Average American citizens day...  That bell/paycheck combo, is a rat maze. Life is Set Up, as a rat maze.

Being disabled. Opened And Closed doors to me. On one hand... no more maze. Not the Regular maze. On the other, I have next to nothing, or so. And, I don't mean new cars, jewelry, clothes. I mean, prescriptions, glasses, clothes, food, toilet paper! Things life requires. I own a trailer, in a lot... but, I haven't got it in my name. The people I bought it from, never transferred the title, I can't Get the title changed, without suing them... I Guess.
